SUSPECTS: Martin Mendoza, 19 year-old Oxnard Resident

On September 6th, at approximately 9:24 p.m., officers from the Oxnard Police Department’s Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) contacted three persons in the west alley of the 4800 block of Olds Road. One of the persons, Mendoza, toss a loaded unserialized P80 firearm over a fence that was retrieved by the officers. Mendoza was arrested for firearms violations and booked into Ventura County Jail.
