SUBJECT:      Firearm / Drug Arrest 

SUSPECT:     Carlos Hernandez, 42 year-old Oxnard Resident

LOCATION:  Sonoma Way / F Street, Oxnard

On the above date/time, Oxnard Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Hernandez.  Hernandez had outstanding warrants for his arrest.  He was taken into custody without incident.  During a search of Hernandez, officers located a loaded 9mm firearm along with methamphetamine.  Hernandez, a person previously prohibited from possessing firearms, was arrested for his warrants, along with firearm and illegal substance charges.
