On May 31st at about 10:01 PM, officers from the Oxnard Police Department conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation in the 400 block of S. Rose Avenue, in Oxnard. A passenger of the vehicle, Brian Ramos, was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun with a high-capacity magazine. Ramos was charged with multiple-firearms related charges.
