DETAILS:
On October 5, 2019, at about 9:27 P.M., patrol officers from the Oxnard Police Department and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the 3000 block of Merced Place for multiple reports of several gunshots fired in the area. When officers arrived, a Hispanic male was found with several gunshot wounds. EMS began lifesaving measures but sadly, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The City of Oxnard offers a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for committing homicides within the City.
