Oxnard Police Department Major Crimes investigators are seeking the public’s assistance with information on the homicide of Rodrigo Carranza. Today marks the one-year anniversary of his murder.
On November 5, 2023 at about 2:00 A.M., Rodrigo Carranza was involved in a confrontation in front of a residence in the 4300 block of Frost Drive in Oxnard. During the confrontation, Carranza was shot and killed.
Since this homicide occurred, investigators have been actively and diligently working this case. Several leads have been developed in the investigation, but investigators are still seeking the public’s assistance with any information regarding this incident.
Investigators are urging anyone who may have any information regarding this incident to contact Detective Manny Perez at (805) 385-7645 or manny.perez@oxnardpd.org. The city of Oxnard offers a reward of $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any individuals responsible for committing homicides within the city.
