Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On February 23, 2025, at about 9:46 p.m. officers with the Oxnard Police Department responded to the 100 block of Wilson Avenue regarding a stabbing victim. Officers located an adult Hispanic male suffering from stab wounds. Officers and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel began life saving measures. The victim was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. This marks the second homicide in the city of Oxnard of 2025.
The Oxnard Police Department Major Crimes Unit has been responsible for the investigation. Major Crimes investigators are seeking additional information and the public’s support. The city of Oxnard offers a reward of $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any individuals responsible for committing homicides within the city.
