On October 2, 2024, at about 6:03 p.m., Oxnard police officers responded to a call of a subject casing for theft inside a gym facility in the 2000 Block of N. Oxnard Blvd. Officers located the subject, 48-year-old Oxnard resident Miguel Gallardo inside the locker room. Gallardo was found to be in possession of a loaded .40 caliber firearm. Gallardo was arrested for various weapons charges that included being a prohibited person in possession of a loaded firearm.
