On July 13, 2021, at approximately 2:03 p.m., Oxnard police officers and EMS personnel responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Rose Avenue and Gonzales Road. When police personnel arrived on scene, they discovered that two vehicles, a silver Honda sedan and a white Dodge Ram truck, collided in the intersection.
Three occupants in the silver Honda Civic were injured and were transported by ambulance to area hospitals. Unfortunately, a 13-year old occupant of the silver Honda Civic was pronounced deceased at the Ventura County Medical Center.
