On 6/23/13 at approximately 0200 hours, Oxnard police officers responded to an assault victim at 441 West Hueneme Road. When officers arrived they contacted a Hispanic male that stated he was the victim of a battery. According to this victim, an unknown Hispanic male punched the victim once in the face and fled.
Officers also noticed second Hispanic male at the scene that was unconscious and in need of medical attention. It was unclear at the time if this second Hispanic male, later identified as 26 year old Oxnard resident Miguel Hernandez-Gomez, was the victim of an assault.
