DETAILS:
On October 31, 2018 at approximately 4:53 p.m., patrol officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to the 600 block of South D Street to assist the Oxnard Fire Department with a male subject refusing to leave a residence on fire. Patrol officers worked with the firefighters to search the residence. The victim was eventually located unresponsive in the attic. He was removed from the residence but had already succumbed to his injuries.
