On October 22, 2024, officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to a report of indecent exposure and child annoyance of a minor in the 800 block of West Hill Street. The female victim was reportedly walking home from school when the suspect called her toward his parked vehicle. As she approached the car, the suspect made inappropriate comments, and an indecent exposure occurred.
The Oxnard Police Department School Resource Officers, in close collaboration with the Family Protection Unit, diligently followed up on the information provided. This collaborative effort led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the suspect, 37-year-old Romeo Olivera, earlier today for indecent exposure and child annoyance.
