DETALLES:
El 5 de junio, en 4:45 P.M., an Oxnard Police officer conducted an investigative traffic stop on a vehicle on Redwood St. at Jackson St. The vehicle pulled over and the officer contacted the driver of the vehicle. Durante la parada, the passenger exited the vehicle and attempted to flee.
The officer ordered the subject, later identified as Dangelly Rivera a 24 residente de Oxnard años de edad, to stay at the scene. Rivera fled on foot and an Electronic Control Device (ECD) was used to take the suspect into custody. The suspect suffered an injury from falling to the ground during the arrest and he was transported to St. John’s hospital for medical treatment.
Rivera had outstanding felony warrants for a stolen vehicle violation, posesión de propiedad robada, y una violación de la libertad condicional. Rivera is currently on probation for threatening a witness and a prior resisting arrest.
