(Oxnard, California) Today Augustin Medina, 46, of Oxnard was booked into Ventura County Jail for a felony domestic violence warrant (three counts of 273a(un) and one count 243e1 PC) by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

Medina is also the suspect in the October 24, 2011 officer involved shooting and pursuit that spanned three cities. The investigation into the officer involved shooting incident is continuing and Medina faces additional charges in that case including: 273.5 PC (la violencia doméstica); fallo grave para producir; e intento de homicidio.

En diciembre 17, 2011 alrededor del mediodía, Leonardo Ramirez was outside of the residence located in the 500 bloque de West Hill Street a la espera de Octavio Hernández llegar. Ramírez Hernández debía dinero a partir de un acuerdo de negocios anterior. As Hernandez arrived, Ramirez pulled a semi-auto handgun from his waistband and pointed it directly at Hernandez.

ACTUALIZACIÓN
Detectives developed information which led to Barstow, California. A consecuencia, en alrededor 2:30 p.m. today, a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy encountered Abdalla near his vehicle north east of Barstow. Abdalla was taken into custody without incident and will be returned to Oxnard to face charges.

The victim remains hospitalized.

The victim stated he was attacked by one person. The motive for the attack was unknown and the crime does not appear to be gang related. Three members of an Oxnard family received significant injuries in a traffic collision at the intersection of Fifth St. and Harbor Blvd. this evening.

En 7:03 p.m., Oxnard police and fire responded to an injury collision at the noted location. The Toyota Prius, driven by a 52-year-old Oxnard resident, was northbound on Harbor Blvd. The Dodge Charger, driven by a 23-year-old Oxnard man, was southbound on Harbor Blvd. and made an eastbound turn in front of the Prius.

The driver of the Charger was not injured in the crash, but the driver of the Prius and his two daughters, siglos 9 y 11, sustained significant injuries as a result of the head-on crash and were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.

An investigation as to the cause of the collision is continuing.

Detectives del Condado de Ventura Agencias Combinadas Equipo (VCAT) and the Oxnard PD narcotics unit made an arrest on Wednesday resulting in the seizure of just under four pounds of heroin. Una investigación en curso, reveló que José Luis Naranjo Heredia, 46, distribuía heroína en toda la ciudad de Oxnard.
