DETALLES:
El domingo, Septiembre 27, 2015, en alrededor 5:30 p.m., officers from the Oxnard Police Department and EMS personnel responded to the 400 bloque de W. Channel Islands Boulevard in reference to a single vehicle injury traffic collision involving a motorcycle.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the motorcycle, driven by Adrian Magana Esparza, was traveling eastbound on Channel Islands Boulevard from ‘J’ Street and approaching the intersection of ‘C’ Street. Se determinó que la balacera ocurrió dentro de un negocio abandonado, the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed. For an unknown reason, Driver Esparza lost control of the motorcycle and collided into the curb along the south side of the roadway. This caused him to be ejected from the motorcycle and then collide into a large palm tree. Esparza was wearing a motorcycle helmet but was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unknown if alcohol and/or drugs are factors in the collision. The roadway was closed during the scene investigation but has been reopened.
