El domingo, Febrero 07, 2016, entre 12:00 p.m. y 4 p.m., the Oxnard Police Department conducted a Motorcycle Safety Enforcement Operation throughout the city limits. Durante la operacion, officers issued 16 citations for various motorcycle violations, 29 citations for various vehicle violations, and arrested one person who had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

The Oxnard Police Department wants to make everyone aware of the precautions that can be taken to reduce the number and severity of collisions involving motorcyclists. Motorcyclists are reminded to use proper lanes positioning, match your speed to traffic around you, and to wear an approved D.O.T. helmet. Drivers are reminded to look twice for motorcyclists when turning or entering the roadway.

The Oxnard Police Department will continue to conduct these types of enforcement operations this year to make our roadways and community safer. These operations are funded by grants from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) ya través de la Administración Nacional de Seguridad Vial.

En 2-23-09 en 9:50 Oficiales PM respondieron a una llamada de una víctima del tiroteo en la zona de Carlos y Chester. A su llegada los oficiales localizaron a la víctima de que había sufrido una herida de bala. La víctima fue trasladada a San. Centro Médico Regional de Juan, donde fue trasladado al quirófano y se encontraba en condición grave pero estable.

Investigators learned that one victim was confronted in the street by two suspects’ that attempted to rob him of his property. Cuando la segunda víctima acudió en su ayuda le disparó al sospechoso. DETALLES:

En 2-23-09 en 8:15 hours officers responded to St John’s Regional Medical Center after receiving a call of a shooting victim that arrived by private vehicle. Upon the officer’s arrival, they were told that the incident occurred in the alley of the 1300 bloque de Saviers Rd.. Detectives were told that a verbal confrontation took place in the area of Hill St. and Benton Way. The confrontation continued to the 1300 bloque de Saviers Rd.. The victim was confronted by one suspect armed with a baseball bat and a second subject who was in possession of a handgun. The suspect with the handgun shot the victim and fled from the area on foot.

The victim was taken to a local area hospital by family members where he underwent emergency surgery. The victim died a short time after coming out of the surgery. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Oxnard Police Chief John Crombach and District Attorney Gregory Totten announced today that detectives are making significant progress in the investigation into the August 27th killing of Oxnard resident David Laut. Evidence collected by Oxnard police investigators indicates that Mr. Laut was not the victim of random violence by a prowler. Investigators are pursuing several leads and are confident that an arrest will be made in the case. Sr.. La 65 año viejo Oxnard ha muerto esta mañana por complicaciones debido a una herida de arma blanca sufridas ayer por la tarde. En 2/16/10 en aproximadamente 5:46 pm, officers responded to a call of a stabbing victim in the 300 bloque de Cooper Rd. The victim reported that, en 06/14/10, en aproximadamente 1930 horas, he was walking in the parking lot in the 800 bloque de W. Wooley Rd.. He was confronted by a Hispanic male suspect in possession of a handgun. The suspect demanded the victim’s cellular phone and wallet. After receiving the property, the suspect fled on foot southbound on G Street.

En 10:46 a.m. this morning, Oxnard police received an emergency call of a fight in progress. En 07-25-2010 en 2332 horas, Oxnard police received numerous calls of a large fight in the 800 bloque de Cedar Court. The callers reported dozens of people fighting and throwing beer bottles, chairs and tables. En 09/01/2010 en aproximadamente 2055 horas, officers were dispatched to the Warehouse Shoe Store located at 2330 Saviers Rd.. en relación con un robo a mano armada. El sospechoso entró en la tienda y de inmediato ordenó a todos los empleados y clientes de la planta.

En 2:47 P.M. en 9-4-10 Los oficiales del Departamento de Policía de Oxnard respondieron a la 300 bloque de la calle Córdoba en relación con un robo a mano armada.
