DETALLES:

Two teen girls were seriously injured after they were thrown from the trunk of a car after a crash.

The two girls were in the trunk of a silver Dodge Charger driven by a 17-year-old boy when the Charger that was travelling westbound on Costa De Oro was hit broadside by a Nissan Sentra going southbound on Harbor Boulevard and spun out, acerca de 5:45 p.m. Sábado.

The girls were riding in the trunk because the driver had two other passengers and a large subwoofer in the car.

The two girls and a third passenger were taken to hospitals with severe injuries. The other passenger and the driver suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the Sentra was not injured.

The investigation is continuing and we are asking anyone who may have seen the crash to contact the traffic investigator at (805) 385-7749.

En abril 22, 2018, officers stopped a vehicle shortly before 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Channel View Park at 4460 S. Harbor Boulevard after residents complained of the subjects being loud and disturbing.

A 16-year-old passenger, who was identified as a gang member had a loaded pistol. The teen was arrested on suspicion of possessing a concealed loaded firearm in a car. The driver and another passenger were arrested on probation violations.

En abril 20^ª, 2018 en alrededor 9:45 p.m., officers from the Oxnard Police Department were dispatched to a missing juvenile in the 1600 block of Woodland Street in Oxnard. The mother became concerned when her son left the residence.

The missing juvenile is Andes Fajardo, 11-edad, Hombre hispano, 4’9”, 85 lbs., pelo negro, ojos cafes, last seen wearing a black shirt with red stripes, grey shorts with red stripes and blue sandals (see attached photo).

The Oxnard Police Department does not suspect any foul play. We are urging the public to immediately contact the Oxnard Police Department if they see him or have any information as to his whereabouts.

Un intento sospechoso de asesinato Oxnard fue detenido la noche del viernes en Ventura.

En 4/16/18 en 2:45 A.M. Officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to the report of a carjacking and robbery that occurred in the 1400 Block of South Oxnard Boulevard. On arrival officers located a 27 year old male victim who said he was approached by two suspects who demanded his property. The victim said one suspect was armed with a gun and the second was armed with a knife. The victim was battered by the suspects and sustained minor injuries. The victim said the suspects stole several items from him and fled in his vehicle.

En 4/16/18 shortly after 5:00 A.M. officers from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) located the vehicle in Van Nuys. LAPD was involved in a pursuit of the vehicle that culminated with the vehicle crashing into a parked car. The occupants fled from the vehicle and were later captured. Several items belonging to the victim were located and the investigation is ongoing.

En abril 13, 2018, en alrededor 10:46 p.m., a man showed up at the Ventura County Medical Center with a gunshot wound. Officers spoke with the 23 años de edad,, who had a gunshot wound to his leg. At this point in this investigation, officers did not know a motive for the shooting.

En 4/12/18, en aproximadamente 5:39 a.m., Oxnard police officers responded to a robbery with a knife in the 1200 block of West Gonzales Rd. Officers contacted the victim and learned that the suspect took the victim’s property and was last seen leaving the area on foot. Officer began checking the area and the suspect was located a short distance away in the 900 block of Gonzales Rd. En abril 12, 2018, en aproximadamente 11:30 a.m., officers from the Oxnard Police Department Special Enforcement Unit contacted a known gang member in the 1900 bloque de la avenida San Gorgonio. The subject was identified as Arturo Suarez and he subsequently fled from officers when contacted. Suarez was caught after a brief foot pursuit and found to be in possession of a concealed firearm. Suarez was arrested for firearms and narcotics related charges.
