DETALLES: En junio 12, 2018, en 10:23 AM, the Oxnard Police Department Communications Center received a call of a possible interrupted occupied residential burglary in the 1300 block of Nautical Way, Oxnard. Officers arrived and learned the suspect had entered the victim’s residence while the victim walked to a nearby trash enclosure to discard items from the residence. The victim returned, and observed a male suspect standing in the kitchen. The victim immediately ran into the residence to safeguard the victim’s four-year old son. The suspect retrieved a knife and threatened the victim to not scream, placing the knife to the victim’s throat. The suspect struck the victim several times about her head and face with an unknown object. The victim and the victim’s son were eventually able to flee to a neighbor’s house and call police. The victim’s son was not injured during the incident.
