El Departamento de Policía de Oxnard está pidiendo la ayuda del público para localizar las pruebas de vídeo adicional de robos ocurridos el 06/18/18 en la zona de Cloyne la calle y la calle Dollie. también, OPD está tratando de localizar a las víctimas adicionales en esta área.
El lunes, 06/18/18, officers from the Oxnard Police Department were dispatched to a call of a residential burglary in the 4000 bloque de Cloyne calle. Officers were advised that a suspect was being detained by the residents.
A la llegada, officers found a 16 year old Oxnard resident being detained and took him into custody. The residents told officers that when they returned home from dinner, they noticed lights on inside the residence. Once inside, the residents located the suspect in one of the rooms with property positioned for removal from the residence. It was at this time he was detained. Después de investigaciones adicionales, officers discovered that the suspect had entered through an unlocked or open window.
During the time that the report on Cloyne Street being taken, it was discovered that another home on Dollie Street had been burglarized with video evidence pointing to the same suspect.
La 16 year old was arrested on two counts of residential burglary and lodged in Juvenile Hall.
Detectives from the Property Crimes Unit are asking if anyone witnessed the events or has video evidence, to please contact the Oxnard Police Department. en adición, residents should check any motion sensor/video doorbell alerts for activity. The time frame is 06/18/18 entre las horas de 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
