DETALLES:
En 09-24-12 en aproximadamente 1715 horas oficiales del Departamento de Policía de Oxnard respondieron a una llamada de un robo en progreso en el 1600 bloque de Evangeline Place. El sospechoso fue descrito como un hombre negro que fue visto corriendo por el barrio. As officers arrived in the area, there were reports from citizens that a subject matching that description was attempting entry into a second residence in the area. The suspect confronted the resident and took the phone away, preventing the resident from calling the police. El sospechoso huyó de la residencia de oficiales buscaban la zona. During the investigation it was found that the suspect, who was identified as Christopher Mack, had made entry into two residences while evading police. During the course of those entries Mack threatened, battered and prevented witnesses from calling police. Mack was arrested and booked into the Ventura County Jail on several charges including witness intimidation, amenazas criminales, burglary and also a previous criminal threats charge for which he was wanted out of the City Of Oxnard.

En 9-22-12 en 2200 horas, Oficiales de policía de Oxnard y personal del Departamento de Bomberos de Oxnard respondieron a la 3800 Bloque de Saviers carretera referencia a un vehículo de colisión única reportado en una estructura. Se informaron tanto el vehículo y estructura a estar en llamas.

DETALLES: En 9-21-12 en 1759 horas, Oxnard policías respondieron a la 700 bloque de Ivywood Drive referencia a un apuñalamiento. La víctima había estado en un altercado con un hombre no identificado en el patio trasero de una residencia. La víctima fue rociada-pimienta y apuñalado por dos sujetos masculinos no identificados. Todos los sospechosos huyeron a pie antes de la llegada de la policía.

En 9-20-12, en alrededor 2156 horas, an Oxnard police officer was conducting an investigative traffic stop in the 700 bloque de Arcturus avenida cuando escuchó una explosión en las inmediaciones. En septiembre 20, 2012, en alrededor 7:41 p.m., Oficiales Oxnard PD respondieron a la 500 bloque del Sur K Street después de recibir una llamada de un accidente de tráfico lesión. Una vez en escena, officers and EMS personnel found a 12 años de edad masculino (Nombre omitido) tumbado en la calzada. Preliminary investigation indicates that the Honda Pilot, driven by Angel Rosette Jr., estaba viajando hacia el norte en el 500 bloque de la calle K a una velocidad lenta. Officers learned the victim and his cousin, Daniel Gonzales, were involved in an argument when the stabbing occurred. Gonzales salió de la residencia antes de los oficiales’ llegada.

El 15 de septiembre, 2012, agentes del Departamento de Policía de Oxnard llevaron a cabo un control de licencia de DUI / Drivers.

At the checkpoint, citations were issued to 12 controladores para varios conductores’ license violations. Eight drivers were issued citations for driving without a valid driver’s license and four drivers were cited for driving with a suspended driver’s license. Nine vehicles were towed from the checkpoint. One driver entered the checkpoint and then turned across the center median failing to proceed through the checkpoint. The Oxnard Police Department Traffic Unit will be conducting a DUI/Drivers License checkpoint on Saturday, September 15th at an undisclosed location within the city limits between the hours of 7:00 p.m. y 03:00 a.m. Checkpoints are placed in locations that have the greatest opportunity for achieving drunk and drugged driving deterrence and provide the greatest safety for officers and the public.

All too often, members of our community are senselessly injured or killed on local roadways by impaired drivers. “Over the course of the past year, DUI collisions have claimed 1 life and resulted in 182 wrecks injuring 95 of our friends and neighbors in Oxnard,” declaró el Oficial superior Jamie Brown

 

This DUI/Drivers License checkpoint is an effort to reduce those tragedies and officers will be checking drivers for proper licensing. A major component of these checkpoints is the deterrent effect it has on those who might drive drunk or drugged impaired and bring about more awareness, encouraging everyone to use sober designated drivers.

En 09/11/2012 en aproximadamente 1858 horas, patrol officers attempted to contact Angel Ramirez reference an outstanding parole warrant. Ramírez abrió los oficiales de las 3 búsqueda vehículo minutos a lo largo de la ciudad de Oxnard.

El lunes, Septiembre 10, 2012 en aproximadamente 4:00 p.m., Agentes de la policía de Oxnard fueron enviados a la tienda TJ Maxx situada en 271 West Esplanade Drive in Oxnard regarding a person using a concealed videotaping device on his shoe to secretly record under the female victim’s clothing.
 
The female told officers that she had been inside TJ Maxx when a Black male adult approached her. She noticed that he had an electronic videotaping device concealed on his shoe and was recording under her dress. The store’s surveillance cameras captured the suspect on video. He was later indentified and arrested.
