En noviembre 20, 2011 alrededor del mediodía, the Oxnard Fire Department and EMS personnel responded to a medical call of a woman in a car in the parking lot of McDonald’s at 1741 Pacific Avenue. La persona que llamó informó que la mujer no respiraba.

DETALLES:
En diciembre 6, 2011, en alrededor 2 a.m. Oxnard PD officers responded to Driffill School, situado en 910 South E Street, in regards to a burglary alarm. Cuando llegaron los agentes, a man was seen running on the campus. A perimeter around the school was quickly established.

As officers searched the school grounds, evidence of a burglary to several classrooms was discovered. en adición, officers located signs indicating that the suspect had ascended to a rooftop. With the assistance of a ladder truck provided by the Oxnard Fire Department, officers searched the roof and located the suspect, 30-year-old Roberto Padilla of Oxnard. Oxnard, California– Oxnard Fire Department personnel are currently investigating a fire that occurred this afternoon which resulted in the death of one man. The fire happened at 2851 Wagon Wheel Road in an Oxnard mobile home park.

The first call was received at about 1 p.m. today. The caller indicated that someone may be trapped inside the mobile home. When firefighters arrived, they found a single mobile home fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters simultaneously extinguished the flames while searching the residence for the individual inside.

Firefighters located the individual and brought him out for the emergency medical services personnel to attend to. The male was pronounced dead at the scene. No information on the identity of this individual is being released at this time.

There were no others injured. The fire was isolated to one mobile home unit. No other units were damaged as a result of this fire.

Oxnard Police officers and the medical examiner are also on scene assisting in the investigation.

En agosto 12, 2001 un estudiante de intercambio internacional de 17 años de edad procedente de Japón estaba caminando en la zona de la Avenida Rose y Lindsay Place cuando fue agarrado por un hombre sospechoso. Two men in a car kidnapped her, took her to an unknown location and sexually assaulted her. As part of the investigation, two DNA profiles were collected from the victim. The other sample did not match anyone in any current law enforcement database thus, the identity of the second suspect was not known.

(Oxnard, California) Hoy en alrededor 7:40 p.m. Oxnard PD recibió una llamada de coche que golpeó a un peatón en la intersección de Santa Lucía y Rose Avenidas. Cinco residentes de Oxnard vieron la colisión de un vehículo cercano. Dos de los ocupantes de inmediato salió del coche y rendido ayuda a los 10 años de edad, víctima. (Oxnard, California) El viernes, Marzo 30, 2012 a partir de los 9 p.m. la intersección de la Avenida Rose y Fifth Street permanecerá cerrado por mantenimiento de las vías del ferrocarril. The shutdown will remain in effect until Tuesday, Abril 3 en 9 p.m.

Because this intersection is one of the most heavily traveled in all of Oxnard, the Oxnard PD Traffic Unit will manage the shutdown by monitoring the alternate routes closely. If the officers observe major traffic back-up along those routes, they will modify the traffic plan for the closure.

(Oxnard, California) En abril 6, 2012 en alrededor 10 p.m. Agentes de la policía de Oxnard respondieron a la tienda Walmart ubicada en 2001 N. Rose Avenue en relación con un intento de robo que acababa de ocurrir. El sospechoso era un hombre hispano, 25-26, wearing a black beanie, black or blue sweatshirt with white print on the left side, a plaid Dickies-style button-up shirt, and gray pants or jeans. He spoke English and Spanish and appeared to be ill – witnesses reported that the suspect coughed repeatedly. He approached a clerk at the customer service desk inside the business and demanded money and mentioned having a weapon, but no weapon was seen.

(Oxnard, California) En abril 20, 2012 en alrededor 8 a.m., Oficiales Oxnard PD respondieron a la 4500 bloque de leer la unidad con respecto a un tiroteo e intento de robo residencial. While driving through the neighborhood, the victim noticed that he was being followed by two Hispanic males in a blue, full sized pick-up truck.
