DETALLES:En 5/17/15 en aproximadamente 2035 horas, Oxnard police officers were dispatched to three stabbing victims in front the businesses located in the 800 bloque de West Wooley carretera, Oxnard. Officers arrived and located three stabbing victims. Two of the victims, un 16 year old Hispanic male and a 21 años de edad hombre hispano, were suffering from minor stab wounds. None of their wounds are considered life threatening. A third victim, un 18 años de edad hombre hispano, was found to be suffering from life threatening stab wounds. All three victims were transported by ambulance to the Ventura County Medical Center. La 18 year old victim was rushed into emergency surgery, where he currently remains.

The police officers searched the area and located a crime scene in the 500 bloque del Sur K Street, which is approximately half a mile from the 800 block of West Woolley Road. Investigators from the Oxnard Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. Investigators obtained information that three unknown Hispanic males were involved in the assault. Investigators are trying to identify the suspects and determine a motive for the assaults.

DETALLES:
On the 6-2-15, en 1340 horas, officers from the Oxnard Police Department Special Enforcement Unit/ Gang Enforcement Unit were conducting gang enforcement in the area of Saviers Road and Channel Islands Boulevard when they observed a gold Infiniti sedan in the area with tinted windows and a known criminal street gang member, Alejandro Ramuco, en el vehiculo. An enforcement stop was conducted.

Also in vehicle, were known criminal street gang members Raymond Suarez and Jesus Silva. Silva was found to be driving the vehicle with a suspended license (for driving under the Influence). Both Ramuco and Suarez are Post Release Offenders (PRO) on probation. During the subsequent search of the vehicle and the occupants, Ramuco was found to have a Taurus .357 Magnum handgun concealed in his waistband, y 1.3 grams of methamphetamine concealed in his pants. Officers also located open containers of alcohol in the vehicle.

Ramuco was arrested for various firearms violations, gang injunction violations, gang enhancements and a PRO hold. Suarez was arrested for several gang injunction violations, failing to register as a gang member, and a PRO hold. And, Silva was arrested for driving on a suspended license.

En junio 3, 2015 en aproximadamente 1815 horas, Officers from the Special Enforcement Unit were conducting gang enforcement in the area of Wooley Road and “J” St. The officers made contact with Casio Medina (26 año) a known documented gang member who is on probation. During a search of Medina, he was found to be in possession of a loaded semi-automatic handgun.

Medina was arrested for several weapon and gang related violations.

El 5 de junio, en 4:45 P.M., an Oxnard Police officer conducted an investigative traffic stop on a vehicle on Redwood St. at Jackson St. The vehicle pulled over and the officer contacted the driver of the vehicle. Durante la parada, the passenger exited the vehicle and attempted to flee.

The officer ordered the subject, later identified as Dangelly Rivera a 24 residente de Oxnard años de edad, to stay at the scene. Rivera fled on foot and an Electronic Control Device (ECD) was used to take the suspect into custody. The suspect suffered an injury from falling to the ground during the arrest and he was transported to St. John’s hospital for medical treatment.

En 6-28-15, en aproximadamente 1358 horas, Oxnard Police and Fire personnel responded to a call of a vehicle crashing into an occupied residence at the corner of Wooley Road and “L” Street.

First responders found that a 2000 Plymouth Neon had crashed into the house through a living room wall. There were three occupants inside the residence who suffered injuries, including a 47-year old female and two three-year old children. The adult female resident was transported to Ventura County Medical Center (VCMC) with moderate injuries. The two children suffered minor injuries but were not transported for medical treatment.

Había dos ocupantes en el vehículo. El controlador, Brian Sanchez, a 22-year male from Oxnard, was also transported to VCMC with minor injuries. El pasajero, an adult female, suffered minor injuries and was released at the scene.

En julio 7, 2015, en alrededor 6:30 pm members of the Oxnard Police Department Special Enforcement Unit / Unidad de pandillas, observed a wanted gang member, Adolfo Palazuelos, driving in the area of Hwy 101 @ Vineyard Ave. A K9 officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but Palazuelos failed to yield. After a short vehicle pursuit that lasted approximately one mile, Palazuelos stopped his vehicle and was taken into custody along with his passenger, Raul Palazuelos. Both Raul and Adolfo are documented Colonia gang members and are Post Release Offenders (PRO). During a search of the vehicle a single shot 6mm pistol was located. Adolfo Palazuelos is a (PRO) for possession of narcotics with a firearm. Raul Palazuelos is a (PRO) for attempt homicide.

DETALLES: En julio 19, 2015, en alrededor 3:46 a.m., officers from the Oxnard Police Department and EMS personnel responded to an injury traffic collision involving a silver, Chevy HHR and a bicycle in the southbound lanes of Victoria Avenue north of Doris Avenue. A la llegada, emergency personnel contacted the driver of the Chevy, 40 year old Enrique Beltran, and found that he was not injured. el ciclista, 54 year old Gerald Potter, sustained extensive injuries and was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center where he immediately underwent surgery. His condition is listed as critical at this time.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the Potter was riding his bicycle southbound on Victoria Avenue along the paved right shoulder. His bicycle was not equipped with any lighting equipment. It appears that Potter drifted into the number two southbound lane of travel where he was struck by the vehicle driven by Beltran. Potter was not wearing a helmet.

Beltran was interviewed and released from the scene.

El jueves, Agosto 6, 2015, en alrededor 12:30 p.m., firefighters from the Oxnard Fire Department were handling an incident on Rose Avenue just north of Third Street. En este momento, their ladder truck was parked in the northbound lanes of Rose Avenue and its emergency lights were activated. While handling this unrelated incident, the firefighters observed a black Honda Accord stopped several feet behind the firetruck.

As the firefighters spoke with the driver of the Honda, Pedro Cruz Padron, they detected signs of alcohol intoxication. When the firefighters attempted to convince Driver Padron to park his vehicle and step out, he suddenly accelerated forward colliding with the rear of the firetruck. Driver Padron immediately became combative with the firefighters but was detained at the scene by them and responding officers from the Oxnard Police Department. A large, opened bottle of alcohol was located in the vehicle.

Driver Padron was transported from the scene to Saint John’s Regional Medical Center where he was evaluated for any injuries. He did not sustain any injuries as a result of this incident. Driver Padron was admitted to the hospital for observation and may face charges of driving under the influence of alcohol upon conclusion of this investigation. The firefighters and officers were also uninjured. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

Currently the traffic signals at the intersection of Esplanade Drive @ Vineyard Avenue in Oxnard are at a flashing red signal creating traffic delays. Personnel from the Signals Department are on scene attempting to address the problem.

It is anticipated that it may take several more hours before the traffic signals are fixed. This problem is likely to result in major traffic delays in that area. The public is asked to use alternative routes if possible.

DETALLES:En 8-16-15 en alrededor 0305 horas, an Oxnard Police Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near the intersection of Second Street and “A” Street. A records check revealed that the rear passenger was on searchable probation related to narcotics violations. The officer had the driver (Jose Torres) and the rear passenger (Horacio Juarez) exit the vehicle to exercise the probation terms. During a search of the vehicle a Taurus .38 caliber revolver was found on the rear floorboard area where Juarez had been sitting. A records check revealed that the firearm was stolen in 2014 out of the Sheriff’s area(RB#14-7260). Jose Torres was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and possession of drugs. Horacio Juarez was arrested for several firearms violations. Oxnard Police case# 15-89024
