DETALLES:
(OXNARD, California) En 9:39 a.m., Noviembre 15, 2012, the Oxnard Police Department responded to a report of possible human remains in the area of 4th and D Streets in Oxnard. Detectives from the Oxnard Police Department responded and located what appeared to be an adult skull and jaw bone. The bones appeared to be weathered, and did not appear to be from any recent event. Along with the bones were several items indicating they came from an altar, such as a “Santa Muerte” shrine. The bones were taken by the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office for identification purposes. The other items were taken as evidence. Detectives interviewed several persons in the area. The investigation will continue by the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Oxnard Police Department Major Crimes Unit.
