DETALLES: (Oxnard, California) - Detectives need the community’s assistance in identifying a “person of interest” that was seen with a homicide victim minutes before the murder.
En octubre 15, 2017, en aproximadamente 2:56 a.m., Oxnard police officers responded to a call of gunshots heard in the 1300 block of Azalea Street. The officers arrived on scene and searched the area. The officers located a Hispanic male, later identified as 27-year old Guillermo Garcia, unresponsive in the alley. Garcia was pronounced deceased at the scene. An autopsy confirmed that Garcia was shot and killed.

In the footage, detectives observed a person that was with Garcia several minutes prior to his murder. The person is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-20’s with a thin build wearing a red and white horizontally striped jacket (Refer to pictures below). Detectives believe the person in the photographs was an associate of Guillermo Garcia.
