SUBJECT: Shooting in Oxnard leaves one man dead

On August 15, 2021, at about 12:30 AM, Oxnard Police Officers were dispatched to assist the Oxnard Fire Department at a residence with a possible stabbing victim. Officers responded to the residence when they learned that the victim was being immediately transported to the hospital for further medical treatment. Unfortunately, once at the hospital the male succumbed to his injuries and died.
During the investigation, detectives determined that the victim suffered from a gunshot wound. This is the tenth homicide in the City of Oxnard this year. Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance with any information regarding this incident.

The City of Oxnard offers a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any individuals responsible for committing homicides within the City.
