On Friday, March 25, 2022, at about 6:30 A.M., Maryjane Arteaga was seen alone walking away from a family member’s residence in the 900 block of West Gonzales Road. She left in an unknown direction with an unknown destination. Ms. Arteaga’s whereabouts are unknown, and her family is searching for her.
Maryjane Arteaga is described as a 25-year-old Hispanic female, 5’5, 180 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white graphic t-shirt with black on the front, black pants, and black tennis shoes.
Ms. Arteaga’s family reported her missing on Saturday morning, April 2, 2022. Ms. Arteaga may be suffering from an undiagnosed mental health illness. Detectives with the Oxnard Police Department’s Family Protection Unit are working with her family to find her. There is no indication that Ms. Arteaga is missing due to foul play or criminal wrongdoing.
