SUBJECT: Narcotic Sales Arrest
SUSPECTS: Eddie Gomez, 53 year-old Oxnard Resident

During the month of October 2022, the Oxnard Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) began an investigation regarding Eddie Gomez being involved in the sale of Methamphetamine. During the investigation, DEU detectives developed enough evidence to obtain a search warrant.
On November 4th, 2022 with the assistance of the Oxnard Special Enforcement Unit (SEU), DEU detectives located Gomez while he was driving in his vehicle. SEU Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and detained Gomez pursuant the search warrant. During a search of the vehicle, SEU Officers located a large quantity of Methamphetamine, US Currency, and evidence of narcotics sales.
Gomez was charged with possession of Methamphetamine for sale and transportation of Methamphetamine, both Felonies. He was booked into the Ventura County Main Jail.
