DETAILS:
On 09-13-10 at approximately 1330 hours, officers responded to a vehicle burglary in progress at the intersection of First Street and Rose Avenue.
The suspect, Julio Cesar Garcia, was observed inside of the vehicle by arriving officers and taken into custody. Property taken from the vehicle was recovered.
Garcia, when arrested, was found in possession of drug paraphernalia. Garcia was booked for burglary and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Oxnard Police Department wants to remind residents to secure their vehicles and not leave valuables in plain view. Residents are also urged to record vital information from their valuables, such as serial numbers and model numbers.
