On January 7, 2012, at about 7 a.m, members of the Oxnard PD Narcotics Unit and Special Enforcement Unit served a narcotics search warrant in the 400 block of North Grant Avenue in Oxnard. The search warrant was the result of a three-month investigation into the sale of rock cocaine at the residence.
During the search of the residence detectives located paraphernalia related to the sale of drugs; more than four ounces of marijuana; three ounces of cocaine; two small-caliber handguns and seized about two thousand dollars for asset forfeiture. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is more than ten thousand dollars.
Salvador Valdivia, 24, was arrested for possession of cocaine for sale and several weapons violations. Orlando Reyes, 28, was also arrested during the search warrant. Reyes was charged with possession of methamphetamine for sale and three felony warrants.
