DETAILS:
On 5-21-13, at 1915 hours, officers were dispatched to Anchorage Avenue and Berkshire Drive re: a robbery. Officers learned an 18-year old male Oxnard resident was riding his motorized bicycle in the area of Dallas Drive and Berkshire Street when a male subject ran into the street and pushed the victim into a parked car. The victim fell off the motorized bicycle sustaining minor cuts to his face, hand, and knee. The male suspect took the bicycle.
Another male subject got out of a parked white Escalade SUV and ran toward the victim. The victim feared for his safety and fled and immediately notified the Oxnard Police Department.
Officers began searching the area and the 4400 block of Dallas Drive. Officers first located the white Escalade SUV and then the two suspects. Officers also located the motorized bicycle nearby. The suspects were arrested and charged with robbery. The suspects are identified as Felipe Gutierrez, 20 years, and Alejandro Jimenez, 28 years, both Oxnard residents.
