(Oxnard, CA) UPDATE – Today at 11:50 a.m., Oxnard PD officers arrested a 14-year-old Hispanic male in this case. His name will not be released because he is a juvenile. The suspect was arrested at his home in Oxnard. He will be charged with false imprisonment (236 PC) and touching an intimate part of another person while that person is unlawfully restrained (243.4(a) PC). He will be booked into Ventura County Juvenile Hall today.

On Sunday July 15, 2012 at about 11:30 p.m., Oxnard police officers were dispatched to Ben’s Laundromat located at 501 Cooper Road in Oxnard regarding a sexual assault committed against a 31-year-old adult female.
The female told officers that she had been inside the laundromat near closing time when a Hispanic male entered the business and sexually assaulted her. Surveillance cameras captured the assault on video. The suspect fled the scene but was described as a Hispanic male, 15 to 18 years old, with short black hair, wearing a blue short-sleeve t-shirt and black shorts.
