On 12/28/13, at approximately 1240 hours, Oscar Valles called the police department and stated that he had heard that police were looking for him and he wanted to turn himself in. Valles arrived at the police department and met investigators. Valles was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Ventura County Jail for murder.
Valles’ arrest stemmed from the stabbing death of a 24 year old Oxnard resident. The stabbing occurred in the 2000 block of North Oxnard Blvd. The victim’s name is being withheld until his family is notified.
