On Thursday, January 31, 2013 starting at about 9:00 p.m. Oxnard Police Officers responded to four separate robbery incidents throughout the city. In each robbery the suspects were described as driving a dark colored older model van.
Just after midnight Officers located a van with a similar description parked in the north alley of the 1300 block of Althea Court. The van was occupied by two males identified as Johnny Jimenez, 18 years of age and Ezequiel Mendez 21 years of age. These two subjects matched the description of the suspects in the robbery incidents. They were both found to be in possession of stolen property that was taken during some of the robbery incidents. Both Jimenez and Mendez were arrested and charged with multiple robberies.
