DETAILS:
On 4/21/14 at approximately 2040 hours, officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to the 3600 Block of Saviers Road (Little Caesar’s Pizza) reference a call of a robbery. Employees told officers that the suspect entered the restaurant with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled the business.
A witness advised police that a possible suspect had jumped the fence to Blackstock School located at 701 E. Bard Road. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. The Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) and a K-9 officer also participated in the search.
The suspect was described as a male in his 40’s wearing a ski mask and dark clothing.
No one was injured during the incident and the suspect is still outstanding.
