DETAILS:
On 7-11-2011 @ approximately 1319 hours officers from the Oxnard Police Department were dispatched to a robbery that had just occurred at the Thrifty Gas Station located at 1501 W. Gonzales Road. The suspect entered the gas station and pulled out a knife demanding the cashier open the cash register. The cashier was unable to open the register as an area power outage had just occurred. The suspect was last seen walking away from the gas station, north bound towards Azalea Street.
The cashier was not injured during the robbery. Officers checked the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him.
