DETAILS:
At about 2025 hours on 1/14/14, Oxnard Police Officers responded to a call of a carjacking in the 2500 Block of Vineyard Avenue. Once on scene, officers learned that the victim was seated in his vehicle (Blue ’97 Volvo 4Dr, 6RQS103), when he was confronted by the suspect (see description above). The suspect indicated he had a handgun and wanted the vehicle. The suspect eventually took control of the vehicle and drove away in an unknown direction, possibly towards Thousand Oaks.
