DETAILS:
On 1-16-13, at about 2217 hours, a 40-year old male Ventura resident was leaving a liquor store/deli located in the 1900 Block of North Ventura Road. The victim had just entered his parked car when two male subjects, 18 to 20 years old approached him. These subjects were armed with knives. The subjects demanded that the victim relinquish any money he had in his possession. The victim gave the suspects approximately $15. The suspects then demanded other property. When the victim hesitated, the suspects stabbed him.
The victim’s injuries were described as moderate to serious. He was treated at the Ventura County Medical Center.
The suspects fled on foot eastbound towards an alley.
