On 03/7/14 at approximately 0917 hours, officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to Starbucks, 241 West Fifth Street, reference a robbery that just occurred. The lone suspect was described as an H/M wearing a khaki color sweater, white sunglasses, and a blue backpack. The suspect entered the business, implied a knife, and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
Minutes later, a person matching the suspect description was contacted in the east alley of the 400 block of South Fourth Street. During the investigation a witness positively identified the suspect. The suspect was identified as Arthur Lopez, Oxnard resident. Lopez was arrested for robbery, burglary, and parole violation.
