DETAILS:
On 1-2-14, at approximately 2100 hours, officers were dispatched to a residence in West Oxnard regarding a domesitc dispute involving a firearm.
Officers contacted a 43-year old female and were told that the female’s ex-boyfriend, Oscar Olivas Campos, had forced her into his vehicle. The victim said she was driven across Oxnard against her will and later released. Campos was said to be in possession of a handgun during the incident.
On 1-3-14, at approximately 0055 hours, officers located Campos driving a tan 2004 Cadillac Escalade in the 200 Block of Cooper Road and took him into custody without incident. A loaded handgun and methamphetamine were located in the vehicle.
Campos was arrested for Kidnapping, 207(a) PC, Terrorist Threats, 422 PC, Possession of a Loaded Firearm in a Motor Vehicle, 25850(a) PC, and Possession of a Controlled Substance, 11377(a) H & S.
