DETAILS:
On April 04, 2017, at about 1551 hours, officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to a hit-and-run collision in the area of Oxnard Blvd. and Garonne St. The hit-and-run suspect vehicle was observed leaving the area by an Oxnard police detective. The vehicle was eventually stopped at the intersection of Gonzales Rd. and Harbor Blvd. The vehicle’s right rear tire had deflated and come off the rim, and the rim was worn down to the diameter of the brake drum.
The driver of the vehicle, Kevin Henry, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. During a search of the vehicle prior to towing, a loaded firearm was located hidden in the center console.
The victim of the hit-and-run did not wish prosecution.
