DETAILS:
On October 14, 2017, at approximately 10:10 p.m., officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to the 3300 block of Merced Place for a report of shots fired and a shooting victim. When the officers arrived on scene, they located an unresponsive male victim lying in the roadway who had been struck by gunfire. Emergency medical personnel arrived on scene and declared the male deceased at the scene.
The Oxnard Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and is leading the investigation.
The City of Oxnard offers a $10,000.00 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction in homicide cases.
