DETAILS: On November 30, 2017, at 7:30 p.m., Officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to a call of a shooting victim in the 5200 block of S. J Street. Officers located the victim who suffered from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to Ventura County Medical Center by ambulance. The victim underwent emergency surgery and is currently in critical, but stable condition. The Oxnard Violent Crimes Unit is currently investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
