SUBJECT: Oxnard man arrested for possessing a loaded firearm and narcotics

On June 3rd, 2020, at around 3:00 AM, Oxnard Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a 2018 Toyota Camry for a vehicle code violation in the 3200 block of Saviers Road. The driver, Alberto Guillermo Flores, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. During a search of Flores’ vehicle, officers located a loaded 9mm semiautomatic handgun on the floor board.
Flores was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was arrested without incident for several felony firearm and narcotic related charges.
