SUBJECT: Subjects Arrested For Possession of Firearms and Controlled Substances

On July 8, at approximately 8:45 a.m., Officers from the Oxnard Police Department Special Enforcement Unit (gang unit) and Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit conducted a search warrant at the 3400 block of South “A” Street. During the service of the search warrant, Primitivo Reyes (79yrs), Elias Lucas (20yrs), a male juvenile (17yrs) and a female juvenile (17yrs) were contacted.
During the subsequent search of the residence, a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun, a 20-gauge pump action shotgun and methamphetamine were located. Both of the firearms were found to be unregistered. Reyes was arrested for felony firearms charges. The methamphetamine was found to be in possession of the 17-year-old female. The 17-year-old female was arrested for controlled substance violations.
