On the above date and time, officers from the Oxnard Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a red Chevrolet Tahoe for a traffic violation in the 2300 block of San Mateo Place. The driver of the vehicle, Rivera, was found to be in possession of a loaded P80 firearm. He was arrested for numerous firearm violations, including possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
