SUBJECT: Subject Arrested for Firearm Possession
SUSPECTS: Guillermo Vazquez, 27 year old Oxnard resident
LOCATION: 700 block S. Oxnard Boulevard, City of Oxnard

On the above date and time, officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to a subject in possession of a firearm in the 600 block of S. A Street. The reporting party stated the subject in possession of the firearm had entered a blue Mercedes and was leaving the area. Officers arrived on scene, located the vehicle, and conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of S. Oxnard Boulevard.
Officers detained two subjects in the vehicle without incident. The officers learned that there was a firearm in the vehicle. The driver, Vazquez, admitted to possessing the firearm, a loaded P80 firearm with a high capacity magazine. Vazquez was arrested for multiple firearms violations. The passenger of the vehicle was released at the scene.
