On 12-7-10 at around 11:30 this morning investigators from the Oxnard Police Department served a search warrant in the 1300 block of Edgewood Way. This warrant was in reference to several coin-laundry burglaries in the area.
Oxnard is experiencing an increase in coin-laundry burglaries. Several properties have installed surveillance equipment to video the crimes taking place. This is what happened prior to the arrest warrant today; investigators received surveillance footage from recent burglaries and identified the suspect within days.
During the search warrant stolen property was recovered. The suspect was arrested and charged with 2 counts burglary. Surveillance and booking photos below.
