DETAILS
On February 22, 2012, at about 6 p.m., the victim arrived at Saint John’s Regional Medical Center by private vehicle. He had sustained a non-life threatening injury to his leg. Officers responded to the scene and hospital and contacted several witnesses. They said the shooting occurred in the 1900 block of Lantana Street.
The victim said that the suspect opened fire after words were exchanged between the pair. After the shooting the suspect fled west in the alley. Officers do not know the motive for the shooting at this time.
