On 9-16-14, at approximately 2143 hours, officers of the Oxnard Police Department were dispatched to a stabbing victim in the 2400 block of Grapevine Dr. Officers arrived and contacted the victim who sustained two stab wounds to his abdomen. The victim was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center for treatment.
The victim identified the suspect as Scott Carlson, 56-year old Oxnard resident. The victim advised he was involved in an argument with the suspect and was stabbed during the altercation. The victim’s injuries were initially believed to be life threatening. The victim has since been stabilized and listed in serious condition.
Carlson was contacted by officers at the scene and arrested for 245 PC. Carlson was later booked into the Ventura County Main Jail. An investigation is continuing.
