On February 22, 2014, at about 2032 hours, officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to the 400 block of N. Garfield Avenue to contact victims who were robbed and carjacked while they were sitting in a vehicle at the rear of 535 Cooper Road. The victims told the officers that they were sitting in a vehicle, a blue 2004, Chevy Malibu license plate # 4RNG587, at the rear of the business when they were confronted by three male suspects. The suspects ordered them out of the car and demanded cash. All three victims gave the suspects cash totaling $520. One of the suspects held a knife to the car owner and demanded his keys. Once given the keys, the suspects got into the victim’s car and fled.
The suspects were described as three (3) Hispanic males, 20-30 years, one thin build, one medium build, and one heavy build, wearing grey or light colored hoodies.
There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
