On August 9, 2015 at approximately 1900 hours, Oxnard police officers responded to the 300 block of North G Street reference a person hit by a vehicle. When officers arrived they located the victim, 18 year old Bryan Ramirez. Ramirez was transported by ambulance to the Ventura County Medical Center in grave condition.
On August 14, 2015, VCMC staff notified the Oxnard Police Department that Mr. Ramirez had died as a result of his injuries he sustained from the collision. Investigators are still reviewing evidence and are trying to determine how this incident occurred. They believe that this incident was witnessed by several people and are requesting assistance from the public.
